Six months after Ocean Installer opened its UK office in Aberdeen, the Norwegian subsea entrepreneurial company yesterday welcomed the industry to celebrate the company’s considerable achievements so far.

The Norwegian subsea entrepreneur Ocean Installer is moving into new headquarters in Stavanger to accommodate for the strong growth the company has experienced over the last year.

Premier Oil plc (Premier) has awarded Ocean Installer a contract to perform offshore survey operations in support of the development of the Solan oil field.

Ocean Installer has just successfully completed a contract for a pipeline survey and boulder relocation at the Corrib field.

The Ocean Installer charter on the Solstad Offshore CSV Normand Clipper commenced on May 1st. Since the initial mobilisation was finalised on May 10th, the vessel utilisation for Clipper has been at a 100 per cent, performing jobs for companies such as Shell, ExxonMobil, Excite Energy and Nexen, both in the Norwegian and British sector of the North Sea.

Ocean Installer has successfully completed survey and intervention work at the Balder field, as contracted by ExxonMobil Exploration & Production Norway AS (“ExxonMobil”).

Ocean Installer and Solstad Offshore have ordered a large, advanced construction support vessel (CSV). The vessel will be delivered in Q2 2014 and is to be operated by Ocean Installer.

Saipem has awarded Ocean Installer a subcontract for the installation and recovery of a Pipeline Initiation System at the Scott Field development.

The Norwegian subsea entrepreneur Ocean Installer has opened a UK office in Aberdeen, Scotland. The new office will become a full-blown regional branch of Ocean Installer.
