The Board of Directors of Ocean Installer is comprised of people with comprehensive knowledge of and experience from the offshore sectors.
Chair
Nylund has extensive experience from the industry. In the major part of his career he has been with Equinor, holding various management positions in the energy value chain. Prior to leaving Equinor the 1st of August 2022, after almost 40 years, he served as executive vice president in the corporate executive committee for eight years.
Non-executive Director
El-Imad is a chartered accountant and senior finance professional with over 20 years of experience in the international oil & gas sector, including 10 years with Subsea 7 as Vice President & Group Financial Controller. She has served on a number of Boards and Audit Committees in both the private and charitable sectors.

Espedal, Senior Partner in HitecVision since 2010, has more than 23 years of experience from the international oil and gas industry. In addition to having served as Vice President of Subsea 7’s activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, he has worked a number of years in Statoil and has broad experience in the area of international Exploration & Production strategy.

Skaara, Sr Partner in HitecVision since 2014, has worked his entire career within the financial industry with focus on the Norwegian oil services sector. His main area of expertise is within strategic development and M&A transactions. He has served on the board of numerous companies of HitecVision controlled entities. Before joining HitecVision he has worked as in investment banker within corporate finance.
