Ocean Installer wins Malta mooring job

Ocean Installer has been awarded a turnkey project for procurement and installation of a spread mooring chain system for a Floating Storage Unit (FSU) in Malta.
The mooring installation and hook-up takes place in Marsaxlokk Bay, where the FSU will be providing re-gasified LNG for the fueling of electricity generators onshore at Delimara power station. The client is ElectroGas Malta.

The project will be managed from Ocean Installer’s offices in Stavanger and Aberdeen and onshore engineering will commence with immediate effect.
