Ocean Installer secures yet another offshore construction vessel

Ocean Installer has signed a contract with Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) for the hire of SOFF’s offshore construction vessel (CSV) “Normand Mermaid”.
The contract duration is 5 years with further 5 x 1 year option. The contract commences on the 1st of March 2013. Normand Mermaid is a medium sized global capacity CSV built in 2002. The vessel is well suited for subsea construction work in both deep and shallow waters.

Ocean Installer has already signed a contract with SOFF for the hire of the CVS “Normand Clipper”. The contract duration is 5 years with further 5 x 1 year option. The contract commences in Q2 2012. Normand Clipper was built in 2001 and extensively upgraded in 2005. The vessel is a global capacity vessel specifically designed for shallow and deep water operations.
