Ocean Installer awarded contract with total E&P UK Limited

Total E&P UK Limited has awarded Ocean Installer a contract for the recovery of casing at the Tomintoul location, west of the Shetland Islands.

The scope of the work involves the cutting and recovery of 472 meters of 20” downhole casing from the seabed, at approximately 580m water depth. The onshore operations will be based at Ocean Installer’s Aberdeen office and the highly efficient long-term chartered construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Clipper will be utilised for the offshore work scope.

The Tomintoul field is located on the edge of the UK Continental Shelf, west of the Shetland Islands.
