Your Contribution

If we look beyond the fact that you would get to work with some of the greatest minds in our industry, we can offer quite exciting tasks within our Analysis department.

Here are some of the things you can expect to do on a day-to-day basis as an Analysis Engineer in Ocean Installer: 

  • Perform hydrodynamic installation analysis for various subsea products (eg. pipeline, flexible products, structures, spools) for tenders and projects
  • Support for ongoing offshore operations
  • Deliver engineering documentation and reports
  • Proactively contribute to efficient communication and decision making with other disciplines and project team members
  • Review, update and use RAOs
  • Prepare and agree with your lead/manager the deliverables of the workscope and meet agreed objectives
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members where relevant

Your Story

What's your story? Working alongside an exceptional team of colleagues, here are some of the things we are looking for from you as an Analysis Engineer:

  • Relevant degree qualification
  • Experience from the Oil & Gas industry with special focus on flexible/riser installations, experience with hydrodynamics and subsea lift operations
  • User experience with OrcaFlex software is needed; and some experience with SESAM Simo/Riflex/Sima software would be great but not essential
  • Are you conversant with current offshore marine ops codes such as DNV, NORSOK, API
  • An understanding of engineering design, offshore transportation and installation methods
  • Some knowledge and experience with programming languages like python is beneficial
  • Are you results orientated? The ability to act decisively based on data presented is what we are looking for
  • Excellent time management skills, analytical problem solving is key and great collaboration skills for working in our teams
